Thomas M. Solomon, 67, a resident of Schnecksville for the last 34 years, died Jan. 23, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife, Mary Ellen (Wolinski) Solomon, were married 45 years.
Born Dec. 2, 1954, in Columbus, Ga., he was the son of the late Leonard Eric and Marguerite L. (Volk) Solomon.
In his youth, his family moved to Pennington, N.J., where he grew up.
He attended Hopewell Valley Central High School and New York University.
He had a long career in the automotive industry and owned several businesses.
He will be forever remembered for his warm smile, deep baritone voice and his love of fishing.
In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by sons Brian S. Solomon (Sara) of Orefield, Gregory M. Solomon (Ann-Sofie) of Sweden, and Richard J. Solomon (Lauren) of Plymouth Meeting; siblings Geoff Solomon (Teresa) of Denver, Colo., Theresa Solomon (Guy Kent) of Kalispel, Mont., Joanne DiMeglio of Ewing, N.J.; and grandchildren Liam, Claire, Alexander, Jonathan, Derek and Norah.
A celebration of his life service will take place at 11 a.m. Jan. 29 in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 4906 Route 309, Schnecksville, with Craig Adams officiating.
Family and friends may pay their respects 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home.
