PRESS PHOTOS BY SHARON SCHRANTZ Girl Scout Jessica O'Neill earned her Gold Award for her accomplishment at Kalmbach Park. The project consisted of updating the scavenger hunt at the park. Here, she is pictured at the entrance showing the QR code describing this particular area. There are maps available to follow the trail. The QR codes contain information about trees and animals such as deer, rabbits, foxes and mice. There is also information about erosion, composting and other nature items.

All the posts are changed with the QR codes sealed on the top. There are 17 signs throughout the course. The posts along with other items were donated by Dries, a division of Wehrung's, Macungie. The QR codes were made possible by WilliamSIGNS, Allentown.
