CMS News: Report cards available Jan. 28

Reports cards for Catasauqua Middle School students will be available after 3 p.m. Jan. 28 through the parent portal.

CMS is hosting the Strengthening Families program for seven weeks. The program runs 5:30-8 p.m. Mondays, and the remaining dates are Jan. 31, Feb. 7, 14 and 28 and March 7 and 14.

This program is a fun evening for all members of the family. Free child care is available for any children under age 10.

A free meal is the first part of the program each night.

CMS students will have an early dismissal Feb. 2. Students will be dismissed noon.

The CMS Souper Bowl of Caring runs until Feb. 11.

Make sure to check the expiration dates on donated items. Please bring only nonperishable foods and no glass.

The homeroom that brings in the most items wins a pizza party.

CMS will be closed Feb. 18-21 for the Presidents Day holiday.

CMS is seeking two fifth- through eighth-grade yearlong building substitute teachers, at a daily rate of $130. Appropriate certifications are required. Send a letter of interest, resume and standard Pennsylvania application to humanresources@cattysd.org.

Bus and van drivers, at a starting rate of $18.52 per hour, are also needed. Contact David Cressman at 610-264-3192, option 2, for more information.
