Carol A. Keene, 64, of Orefield, died Jan. 4, 2022, in her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of Bruce A. Keene for 39 years.

Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Edmund W. and Anne M. (Naylor) Killheffer.

She attended Bloomsburg University, where she was president of the Chi Sigma Rho sorority. She earned a master’s of business administration from Kutztown University.

She worked at Air Products and Chemicals for 26 years before joining Wacker Chemical Corporation in 2008 where she was employed as the director of talent acquisition and development.

She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker Church, Orefield

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jeanette D. and her husband Anthony L. Cartolano of Cedar Park, Texas; a son, Andrew A. and his wife Stephanie N. Keene of Alexandria, Va.; two sisters, Regina A. and her husband Robert E. Zimmerman of Reinholds and Rita M. and her husband John D. Ressler of Brownstown; and four grandchildren, Ryan, Kyle, James and Sarah.
