Whitehall wrestlers took seventh place at last week’s War at the Shore. They team had 94.5 points as Southern Regional won the event with a score of 240.5.

The Zephs did have some great individual performances, and were led by Xavier Arner who won his bracket at 152. Senior Arner defeated Cole Velardi of Southern Regional with a 5-4 decision. Arner is 18-2 on the year while Velardi, a junior, was 15-3.

At 126, Johnny Colon took third place as Southern Regional’s Wyatt Stout took first. Tyler Cunningham also took third at 132 as Jacob Wright of Mt. Saint Joe’s was first.

Hudson Saylor was sixth at 138. Melquan Warren was fifth at 195, and Anthony Saed was eighth at 285.
