Strangulation

Garrett Vinson Kinard, 52, of Macungie, was placed under arrest for alleged strangulation, simple assault, driving under the influence, resisting arrest and related charges after state police responded to an alarm at a residence in the 6000 block of Timberknoll Drive, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 30, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Assault

A 17-year-old male, of Macungie, was taken into custody after allegedly punching another male teenager in the face in an incident in the 6600 block of Mine Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 7:58 a.m. Dec. 30, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Terroristic threats

David A. Searfoss, 38, of Emmaus, was taken into custody after he allegedly shoved and threatened to kill a 65-year-old person at a location in the 4000 block of Robert Road, Upper Milford Township, 2:30 p.m. Jan. 10, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Retail theft

Amber Marie Keys, 32, of Pennsburg, allegedly concealed items, with a total value of $1,890.75, in multiple bags while shopping at Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 2:30 and 2:55 p.m. Dec. 19, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Keys allegedly removed JBL earbuds, valued at $79.99; Sony headphones, valued at $99.98; GEMS headphones, valued at $49.99; a Polaroid camera, valued at $99.99; an Amazon Fire 7-inch tablet, valued at $119.98; an XBox game console, valued at $179.99; Apple TV, valued at $149.99; Anker merchandise valued at $49.98; a backpack, valued at $59.99; a necklace, valued at $74.97; bracelets, valued at $75.95; a Fulton bag, valued at $14.99 and Amazon merchandise valued at $174.96.

A 34-year-old female, of Coplay, allegedly attempted to remove approximately $120 worth of merchandise from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:43 p.m. Dec. 24, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Diana Rose Constantino, 31, of Allentown, was taken into custody for allegedly removing $154.49 in food items from Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 2:42 p.m. Dec. 28, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Deborah Ann Petrella, 51, of Bartonsville, was arrested for retail theft after she allegedly removed items valued at $615.89 from Giant Food Stores, 7150 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, 2:50 p.m. Jan. 14, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Petrella allegedly left the store without paying for items she placed in reusable bags including $67.94 in dairy products, $33.17 in frozen food, $37.71 in meat, $16.19 in produce, $82.40 in health and beauty care items, $303.10 in grocery items and $75.38 in general merchandise.

Theft

A resident of the 5500 block of Chestnut Street, Upper Milford Township, discovered a five gallon gasoline can was removed from a shed and the suspect filled their vehicle with the gasoline Jan. 5, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Anyone with information on the incident is encouraged to contact police at 610-395-1438.

A resident of Aster Road, Lower Macungie Township, alleges $550 was stolen, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 11:02 a.m. Dec. 10, 2021.

A Macungie Post Office employee observed a person removing mail from a mailbox at a location on Sweetwood Drive, Lower Macungie Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 9:22 a.m. Dec. 17, 2021.

Forgery

An employee of TBL Services, 1005 Brookside Road, Lower Macungie Township, discovered five company checks had been forged during December 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 27, 2021, in the lobby of PSP Fogelsville. The employee also reported the bank used by the company had been alerted.

Burglary

A resident of the 6100 block of Shepherd Hills Avenue, Lower Macungie Township, discovered someone attempted to enter a rear garage door and a rear door of a second floor deck, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 1, 2021. No items were reported stolen. Window glass and a deck door were damaged.

Thefts from vehicle

Two residents of the 1300 block of Butternut Lane, Lower Macungie Township, discovered their vehicles were entered overnight Nov. 30, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Loose change, with a total value of approximately $4, was removed from one vehicle. No items were missing from the second vehicle. The incident was reported Dec. 1, 2021.

A wallet was removed from a vehicle parked in a parking lot near 750 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:29 p.m. Jan. 8, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Harassment

A 40-year-old male, of the 1100 block of Grange Road, Lower Macungie Township, was cited for harassment after he allegedly made comments on camera about a neighbor, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

A 37-year-old female, of Allentown, allegedly threw a glass bottle at a 35-year-old person while in the lobby of Holiday Inn Allentown-Bethlehem 4325 Hamilton Blvd., Lower Macungie Township, causing a bruise, between 1:45 and 1:53 a.m. Dec. 8, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Vehicle theft

A landscaping vehicle was removed from a parking lot at a location in the 8400 block of Congdon Hill Drive, Lower Macungie Township, between 5 p.m. Nov. 19 and 9 a.m. Nov. 20, 2021, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
