Penn State Extension is hosting a Tree Tenders® Training Series webinar noon-1 p.m. Jan. 26, Feb. 2, 9, 16 and 23 and March 2 and 9.
The webinar will empower residents to make dramatic strides toward restoring and caring for the tree canopy in their communities.
The course is designed for lay people and experts alike.
Each participant will learn how trees work, ecosystem benefits of trees, properly planting and caring for trees, tree identification and stressers and organizing volunteer tree projects.
Each participant will receive a hardcopy of the Tree Tenders® Handbook, published by the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society.
ISA Arborist CEUs will be provided for those that attend live sessions.
Certificates of attendance can be provided upon request for Landscape Architecture CE Credits or other professional certifications.
Registration is required to receive the link to access the webinars.
Registrants will also receive access to the webinar recordings.
