New Year brings anticipation of change to local artist

Artist Terri Vadino becomes inspired around the holidays.

The Upper Macungie resident grabs her makeup kit and uses her face as a canvas for her art.

She has a loyal and growing following who keep her busy, especially around Halloween, one of her favorite holidays.

The year 2021 has been a busy year for this enterprising businesswoman who has launched a new company to build upon her talent as a makeup artist.

Vadino experienced much positive change over the past year, including moving into a new home that she built.

She has enjoyed a growing career in health care as a clinical applications analyst despite COVID restrictions.

Life is full of promise for her and that’s what she expresses in her latest creation.

“What inspired me is the fact that I feel like I’ve had a lot of growth in 2021 and, like a snake that sheds its skin when it grows, I’m shedding the skin of 2021 and unveiling a fresh start in 2022,” said Vadino in a recent interview.
