The Parkland Garden Club had its annual Christmas Party Dec. 14, 2021, at Brookside Country Club, Macungie.
Members and guests, 35 in total, had a wonderful time.
Chaplain Patti Molitoris offered a prayer.
An optional gift raffle exchange was also held and pianist Randy Perry provided dinner music.
As is the custom, donations were once again collected for Meals on Wheels at the Christmas Party.
Vicki Coyle, chief executive officer of Meals on Wheels of the Greater Lehigh Valley, was present at the party to receive the donations.
Coyle gave a talk highlighting the activities of the organization this past year.
The Laurel Awards for 2021 were presented by garden Club President Brenda Aubert.
Members Tom Campbell, Debra Gault, Sue Weber and Marsha Chowdhury received an award, in recognition of their service to the Parkland Garden Club.
The Christmas Party was the last event of the club for 2021.
The club also held its very successful 22nd annual garden tour.
There will be no club meeting in January.
The next club meeting will be on Feb. 14 at Jordan Lutheran Church.
