Winifred M. Strauss, 90, formerly of Allentown, died Jan. 13, 2022, in Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall Township.

Born March 4, 1931, in Germansville, she was the daughter of the late Harvey J. and Arlene M. (Hensinger) Strauss.

A clerical worker at Lucent Technologies, formerly Western Electric, Allentown, for 20 years, she retired in 1995.

Before that, she worked at Lehigh Valley Trust, Benesch’s Furniture Store and PennDOT.

She was a member of Heidelberg Union Church, Heidelberg Township.

An avid bowler, she participated in many leagues.

Her survivors include cousins Lenore M. Handwerk of New Tripoli, and Barry K. Friebolin and his wife, Wanda, of Emerald.

A private funeral service will be held in Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Schnecksville. There will be no public calling hours.

The family requests all attendees wear facial masks.
