Walter A. Lawrence Jr., 76, formerly of Catasauqua and Palm Coast, Fla., died Jan. 7, 2022, at St. Joseph Medical Center, Reading. He was the husband of the late Barbara Ann Rae (Schubert) Lawrence.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Walter A. Sr. and Elizabeth (Stout) Lawrence.

He was in the U.S. Army.

He was a truck driver for many years before retiring. After moving to Florida, he was a school bus driver.

He was 32-degree Shriner and a member of Porter Lodge 284.

He is survived by a daughter, Christine E. Smith and her husband David; a son, Nathan A. and his wife Jayne; five brothers, Douglas, Bruce and Gregory Lawrence and Timothy and Jay Titmas; and three grandchildren, Zachary D. Smith and Noel M. and Grayson A. Lawrence.
