Richard G. Bronsburg, 88, of Schnecksville, died Jan. 16, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown.
He and his wife, Shirley A. (Lupinski) Bronsburg, were married 64 years.
Born Nov. 21, 1933, in Swoyersville, Luzerne County, he was the son of the late Edward and Mary (Narsavage) Bronsburg.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War era.
He was a supervisor at Packaging Corporation of America for more than 30 years before retiring.
An avid New York Mets fan, he was a devoted husband and father.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Beverly A. Fritzinger (Dennis) of Lehighton; son Gary R. Bronsburg (Joanne) of Mahoney City; and several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers Edward, Robert and Thomas Bronsburg.
His service will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no public calling hours.
