Eleanor E. Lakatosh, 88, of Walnutport, died on Jan. 13, 2022, in St. Luke’s University Hospital, Bethlehem

The loving wife of Dale A. Lakatosh Sr., the couple was married 68 years.

Born March 3, 1933, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Elwood W. and Elsie M. (Muth) Snyder.

A graduate of the first class at Parkland High School in 1950 and St. Luke’s Hospital School of Nursing in 1953, she was a member of St. Luke’s Hospital Alumni Association and a life member of the Weisenberg Lowhill Township Historical Society.

She was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli, and Weisenberg Women of the ELCA.

She will be forever remembered as a loving wife, caring mother and devoted grandmother to her family.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by children Debra A. Lakatosh and her husband, William Unger, of Fogelsville, Kathy J. Lakatosh of Lehighton, and Dale A. Lakatosh Jr. and his wife, Gina, of Slatington; brothers Henry E. Snyder and his wife, Dern, of Allentown, and Frederick W. Snyder and his wife, Gloria, of Breinigsville; grandchildren Leah M. Lakatosh, Dale A. Lakatosh III, and Benjamin J. and Samuel N. Hauser; step-grandchildren David, Tanya and Tyler Adams; step-great-grandchildren Thea and Jace; and numerous nieces and nephews
