Donald R. Weaver, 74, of Schnecksville, died Jan. 14, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.

He and his wife, Ruth A. (Musselman) Weaver, were married 49 years.

Born Nov. 19, 1947, in Allentown, he was the son of the late Carl F. and Florence M. (Eck) Weaver.

He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.

He was a utility worker for PPL Electric, Allentown, for 40 years before retiring.

A member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville, he formerly served on church council.

He was a member of Guthsville Rod and Gun Club, Allen O. Delke American Legion Post 16, Schnecksville Grange 1684, and Le-Gen PPL Retirees Group.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Colleen A. Richards of Allentown, and Denise A. Tegtmeyer (Michael) of Baltimore, Md.; sister Judith Brenner (Robert) of Macungie; and granddaughter Genevieve M. Tegtmeyer.

He was predeceased by siblings Carl Weaver, Annabelle Kohl, Dolores Kern, Shirley Carr, Allen Weaver and Patricia Weaver.
