David A. Klotz, 81, of Orefield, died Jan. 16, 2022, in Lehigh Valley Hospice Inpatient Unit, Allentown.
He and his wife, Sandra V. (Christman) Klotz, were married 58 years.
Born Feb. 8, 1940, in Syracuse, N.Y., he was the son of the late Ray O. and Veronica E. (White) Klotz.
He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during a peacetime era.
A member of the United Food and Commercial Workers Local 56, he was employed at the former Laneco, Allentown, for 35 years before retiring in 2000.
Before that, he worked for the former A&B Meats, Allentown.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter Kimberly A. Diehl (Jon) of Orefield; granddaughter Jocelyn R. Diehl of Orefield; godson Michael D. Christman (Robin) of New Tripoli; brothers Donald P. Beach (Shirley) of Arizona, Richard O. Klotz (Janice) of Orefield, and Reed L. Klotz of Allentown.
He was predeceased by a brother, Raymond Beach.
