Carson J. Wittman, 78, of Salisbury Township, died peacefully Jan. 9, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was the high school sweetheart and loving husband of Joan (Fisher) Wittman with whom he shared over 55 years of marriage. Born at home, he was the son of the late Theodore and Elsie (Sulzer) Wittman.
He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army for 22 months, during the Vietnam War.
He worked as an auto mechanic for various companies in the Lehigh Valley for many years until retiring.
He was an accomplished baseball player and had a love for the game. He helped coach and was active with his sons at Fountain Hill Little League, Salisbury High School and their Connie Mack teams. He enjoyed watching horse racing, hunting and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife; sons, Greg M. and his wife Stacey, of Glenn Mills, Todd M. and Brad M.; a brother, Barry J., all of Salisbury Township; grandchildren, Evan, Ryan, Shane, CJ and Quinn. He was predeceased by a sister, Janet.
