Commissioners, executive, others take oaths of office

In near simultaneous ceremonies Jan. 3 area politicians took their oaths for the offices to which they were elected.

COVID sidelined Lehigh Commissioner Zach Cole-Borghi, keeping him from attending the ceremony in person.

Lehigh County Commissioner Jeffery Dutt had previously taken his oath of office because he was already an appointed commissioner; however, Jan. 3 marked the start of his first elected term of office.

Judge Amy Zanelli gave up her office as Lehigh County Commissioner when she was elected as District Magistrate in District 31-01-0.
