Catasauqua Area School District will be closed Jan. 17 for Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Students will resume their normal schedule Jan. 18.

On Jan. 24, a teacher in-service day is scheduled. There will be no classes for students.

Jan. 24 is the end of the second marking period for Sheckler Elementary School.

Sheckler Elementary is looking to fill a school counselor position. Appropriate certification is required, and the position is available now.
