Grace United Church of Christ, 902 Lincoln Ave., is selling homemade chicken noodle, beef vegetable and seafood bisque soup by the quart.

To place an order, call the church office at 610-262-7186 by Jan. 16.

Soup pickup will be 3-4 p.m. Jan. 22 or after the 10:30 a.m. worship service Jan. 23.

Northampton Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4714 is seeking veterans willing to serve on its honor guard. The honor guard provides military honors, when requested by families, at veterans’ funerals, memorial services and celebrations of life.

According to the VFW, the ceremony exemplifies the “paying of respect and the final demonstration of the country’s gratitude to those who, in times of war and peace, have faithfully defended our nation.”

Veterans interested in hearing more about joining the honor guard are asked to call 610-216-8952. No experience is necessary.
