Linda A. (Gechter) Trexler, 93, died Dec. 28, 2021, at home with her family by her side. She was the widow of the late Lester Trexler who died Nov. 29, 1977. Born in Berks County, she was a daughter of the late Daniel and Agnes (Hafer) Gechter.

She was a member of St. Peter’s Union Church, Macungie, where she enjoyed attending and volunteering for various church activities.

She was employed as a finish line operator at East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station, for many years before retiring. She also worked at Lyons Fire Company, Kutztown Elementary School and Esterly’s Sandwich Shop, Bowers.

She loved ceramics, sewing, gardening and listening to Uncle Jeffrey. She also loved to spoil her beloved cat Cleo.

She is survived by a daughter, Cindy L. Rothermel, of Alburtis; granddaughters, Sally Herb, Risha Bower, Cheryl Reppert and Sarah Rothermel; a grandson, Philip J. Rothermel. She was predeceased by sons, Richard L. Sr. and Daniel L.; a grandson, Richard L. Jr.; a granddaughter, Shandell J. Zimmerman; eight siblings.
