Irene M. Buss, 95, of Northampton, died Jan. 3, 2022, at Gracedale Nursing Home, Nazareth. She was the wife of the late William F. Buss Sr.

Born in Hosensack-Limeport, she was a daughter of the late Charles D. and Caroline (Fox) Clauser.

She was last a custodian for Private Industry Council, Allentown, before retiring.

She is survived by a son, Robert W. and wife Susan of Whitehall; a daughter, Elizabeth and her husband Richard Kale Jr. of Northampton; two grandsons, Stephen and wife Laura and Richard Kale III; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

She was predeceased by a son, William F. Buss Jr. and his wife Wanda; a brother, Harold E. Clauser; a sister, Pauline Keeler; a grandson, Terry Buss; and a granddaughter, Robin Buss.
