Frances E. Kale-Elek, 83, of Whitehall, died Jan. 2, 2022, at her home. She was the wife of Ronald P. Elek and the late Richard R. Kale Sr.

Born in Egypt, she was a daughter of the late George and Helen (Madea) Geiger.

She was a sewing machine operator for many years before retiring.

She was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Egypt.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Richard Jr. and his wife Liz; a grandson, Richard Kale III; and a sister, Mary and her husband Skip King.
