Ella Marie “Nancy” Palanica, 99, of Emmaus, died at home Jan. 7, 2022. She was the wife of the late John Palanica. Born in Salisbury Township, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Josephine (Lederer) Wilfinger.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Limeport.

She was a sewing machine operator for the former Modern Clothing, Allentown, for 31 years, retiring in 1986.

She is survived by a daughter, JoAnn H. and her husband, James Rentzheimer; sister, Virginia Wilfinger.
