Cathy M. Dugan, 72, of North Whitehall, died Dec. 27, 2021, at home. She was the wife of Lawrence Dugan for 51 years.

Born in Altoona, she was the daughter of Dorothy (Crozier) and the late John Ihm.

She graduated from Parkland High School in 1967 and earned an associates degree from Lehigh Carbon Community College in 1969. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from Moravian College in 1981.

After a 30-year career working for the city of Allentown, she retired in 2015 as a senior systems analyst.

She was a lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church.

In addition to her husband and mother, she is survived by two sons, Matthew Dugan and his wife Melissa of North Whitehall and Damien Dugan and his wife Tracy of South Whitehall; three grandchildren, Ryan, Madison and Caitlin Dugan; two brothers, John Ihm and his wife Frances and Mark Ihm and his wife Patricia; a sister, Linda Joseph and her husband Harvey; and many nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.
