Catasauqua police responded to these and other calls recently.
DEC. 20
Police made arrests, including Mayobanex Martinez Abreu, 21, of North Catasauqua, and Robert Marte Gonzalez, 21, of North Catasauqua, in the 500 block of Front Street for theft by unlawful taking or disposition and possessing instruments of crime; and Daniel Reyes, 44, of Macungie, at Front and Pine streets for disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
Suspicious activity in the 300 block of Church Street was reported.
Officers assisted Lehigh County Sheriff’s Office in the 600 block of Bath Avenue.
An animal complaint in the 600 block of Faith Drive was investigated. The owner was located.
Police conducted a welfare check in the 200 block of Church Street.
A snowman decoration was reported stolen in the 200 block of Front Street.
DEC. 21
Officers assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Front Street.
A burglar alarm sounded in the 600 block of Pine Street.
At Catasauqua Middle School, 850 Pine St., police responded to a report of non-domestic threats by a 14-year-old female.
At Catasauqua High School, 2500 W. Bullshead Road, Northampton, police investigated a juvenile issue. An officer was reportedly injured.
DEC. 22
Police assisted Whitehall officers at Front and Union streets, Catasauqua, and Upper Macungie officers twice at the same residence in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue, Catasauqua.
DEC. 23
A suspicious vehicle at Suburban North Family YMCA, 880 Walnut St., was reported.
A warrant service in the 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue was conducted.
Police responded to a parking complaint in the 600 block of Limestone Street.
Officers investigated an animal complaint in the 400 block of Race Street.
On the Pine Street Bridge, police addressed a complaint involving a motorbike.
DEC. 24
Two vehicles were involved in a motor vehicle accident at Lehigh and Main streets.
In the 400 block of Poplar Street, a fraud case involving checks had police at the scene.
Officers conducted a welfare check at Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St.
Diapers were reported stolen in the 500 block of Second Street.
An animal complaint in the 700 block of Second Street was addressed.
DEC. 25
Officers assisted North Catasauqua police at Second and Arch streets, North Catasauqua.
Reports of forced burglaries in the 600 block of Faith Drive and the 200 block of Circle Drive had police at the scenes.

A traffic stop was conducted in the 700 block of Front Street.
Loud music was turned down after police investigated a noise complaint in the 400 block of Race Street.
An animal complaint in the 400 block of Race Street led to an animal control officer referral.
At Whittier Place Apartments, 895 Walnut St., officers conducted a welfare check.
Police responded to a domestic disturbance, with no arrests, in the 600 block of Fourth Street.

A blackmail case that occurred in the 100 block of South Front Street is pending further investigation.
DEC. 28
A traffic complaint in the 200 block of Race Street was addressed.
Suspicious activity in the 200 block of Second Street had police at the scene.
DEC. 29
During a vehicle stop on Race Street, the driver/owner was cited and the vehicle towed.
In the 500 block of Pine Street, police conducted a traffic stop.
A hit and run took place in the 100 block of Front Street.
Officers assisted North Catasauqua police for a traffic stop at Second and Arch streets, North Catasauqua.
DEC. 30
An abandoned vehicle notice was given in the 200 block of Second Street.
Police conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of Front Street.
DEC. 31
A theft from a vehicle occurred in the 700 block of Second Street.
Officers responded to two noise complaints at 429 Race St. Both times, the music was turned down, police said.
JAN. 1
On Race Street, suspicious activity was investigated.
A security check was conducted in the 700 block of Bath Avenue.
Animal complaints had police at the scenes on North 14th Street and in the 500 block of St. John Street.
JAN. 2
Officers assisted Allentown police at Front and Union streets, Catasauqua.
On Pineapple Street, officers investigated a fraud complaint.
Charges are pending against an individual for public drunkenness at Catasauqua Towers, 534 Third St.
