Anna “Hanya” Gasper, 94, of Coplay, died Jan. 1, 2022, in her home. She was the wife of the late Frank Gasper for 46 years.

Born in Ormrod, she was a daughter of the late John and Anna (Zonair) Meleta.

She was a seamstress in the garment industry for many years.

She was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Stiles, where she was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society.

She is survived by two sons, Frank and his wife Dr. Ruth Fry and Robert; a daughter, Lisa; a granddaughter, Catherine Gasper; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by three brothers, James, Michael and Samuel; and three sisters, Mary, Julia and Sadie.
