North Catasauqua Police Department is holding the second annual Be My Valentine fundraiser to benefit those fighting cancer at Lehigh Valley Health Network.
Through help from the community and local businesses, NCPD wants to give a Valentine’s Day surprise to every adult and child receiving treatment.
NCPD is asking for donations of adult and children’s reading and coloring books; adult and children’s games; stuffed animals; stationery items and supplies; new, sealed candy; new small toys; Valentine’s Day gifts; and gift cards.
Donations can be dropped off at borough hall, 1066 Fourth St., during normal business hours and weekends. There is a wrapped box for the donations.
Anyone who needs assistance getting their donation to borough hall can contact the borough at 610-264-1504, and an officer will assist.
Donations and proceeds will be delivered to LVHN Feb. 14.
