Joseph P. Murgia Jr., 33, of Northampton, died Dec. 22, 2021, at his residence after a lengthy illness.

Born in Easton, he was a son of Sharon (Mullen) Murgia.

He was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a sister, Nicole M. and her husband Tad Fenton; a nephew, Aiden of Northampton; and paternal grandparents, Peter and Antoinette Murgia of Easton.

Services will be private.
