Steven H. Armbruster, 54, of Lehighton, died on Dec. 23, 2021, in St. Luke’s Hospital, Carbon County campus, Lehighton.

Born Dec. 20, 1967, in Sommers Point, N.J., he was the son of Henry and Maryann (Burns) Armbruster.

He was the husband of Tara (Dedikind) Armbruster.

He honorable served in the U.S. Army as a military police officer and received numerous Meritorious Achievement awards.

A graduate of Allentown Police Academy, he was a deputy sheriff with the Lehigh County Sheriff’s Office.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by sons Steven C. Armbruster of Newfoundland, Wayne County, and Samuel H. Armbruster of Lehighton; and daughter Madison D. Armbruster of Lehighton.

Services are private and at the convenience of the family.
