Robert C. Carson, 93, of Salisbury Township, died December 30, 2021, in his home. Born in Bethlehem, he was the son of the late David and Grace (Smock) Carson. He was the husband of the late Dolores B. (Coles) Carson.
He was in the U. S. Navy during World War II.
He attended Liberty HS and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mining Engineering from Lehigh University.
He work for G. Edwin Pidock Engineering Firm, and was involved in the Straights of Makinac Bridge construction in northern Michigan. He then was a real estate conveyancer at Bethlehem Steel for which he later retired.
He was a past president of the Salisbury Youth Association, where he coached baseball and basketball. He was on the Salisbury Township Recreation Commission.
He is survived by a son, Keith E. and his wife Kathy of Salisbury Township; a daughter, Ann C. Griffin and her partner Robert Prislupsky of Oviedo, Florida; a brother, Glenn Carson of Bellevue, NE; and five grandchildren, Daniel, Adam, Ethan, Ian and Mandy.
He was predeceased by a brother, David Carson, Jr.
