Joann L. Butler, 90, died on Dec. 30, 2021, in Parkland Manor, South Whitehall, where she resided the last two years.
She previously resided on Helen Street, Allentown, for 58 years.
Born Feb. 21, 1931, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Raymond P. and Matilda A. (Holben) Wehr.
She was the wife of the late Josiah F. Butler for 33 years.
A graduate of the first class of Parkland High School in 1950, she retired in 1987 from the former Western Electric, Allentown, after 26 years of service.
Before that, she was a clerk at the former H. Leh & Co., Allentown.
A member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Laurys Station, for the last 30 years, she was a former member of UCC Greenawalds, South Whitehall.
Her survivors include children Keith D. Butler and his wife, Jeanne, of Whitehall, Linda A. Dobbins and her husband, Denzil of Normantown, W.Va., and Julia R. Zack and her husband, Randy of Fogelsville; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
