The counseling office will hold a virtual college visit to Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University 10 a.m. Jan. 10, 2022. Attendees must register by 10 a.m. Jan. 9, 2022.
The counseling office will also hold an Eighth to Ninth Grade Guidance Information Night 6:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 11, 2022. The event is designed to ease the transition from middle school to high school and is open to current eighth grade students and their families.
Emmaus High School’s Orchestra will hold a coffee house Feb. 4, 2022. The snow date is Feb. 17, 2022. Singers, bands, musicians, and other performers interested in participating can sign up for an audition spot using the Google Form linked in the EHS announcements. Auditions will be held Jan. 10-12, 2022. Students are not required to be members of the EHS Orchestra to participate in the coffee house.
Lehigh Career and Technical Institute is accepting applications from current juniors interested in taking the 2022-2023 Emerging Health Professionals Program next school year. The program offers a variety of dual-enrollment classes, internship opportunities and health care education to prepare students who plan on entering the medical field. EHS recently introduced Branch, a golden retriever offering emotional support to students throughout the school year. This is part of a larger East Penn School District therapy dog program. In addition, students with dog allergies or fears can fill out a Google Form linked on the website above to indicate their concerns.
