Wanda J. Kauffman, 87, of Emmaus, died Dec. 5, 2021. She was embraced by her family as she made her journey. She was the wife of the late Timothy Kauffman. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Alta Smith. She spent her childhood near Dallas, Texas, surrounded by her large extended family.
After attending Bible College she obtained a degree in journalism, followed by her calling to the mission field. While in language school in Switzerland she became engaged to her future husband who was also training to go to the mission field. After marrying and completing their training, they served together as missionaries for the next 24 years (1963-1987) in France and Congo, Africa.
Throughout her entire life, she was a loving and caring wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was a faithful member of Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, Emmaus. Her life exemplified her love of God and family.
She is survived by daughters, Jeanne Annette and her husband, Edward Zelner, Brenda and her husband, Steven Mazzi; sons, Christopher and his wife, Jayme, Michael and his wife, Christine; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 8, 2022 at Bethel Bible Fellowship Church, 418 Elm St., Emmaus. Calling hour will be held prior to the service 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Arrangements were made by the Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Emmaus.
