Roughies Report: CHS students score 2nd, 4th, 6th places in DECA conference

More than 36 Lehigh Career & Technical Institute students scored top six finishes at the Distributive Education Clubs of America District 7 conference, held Dec. 14 at Lehigh Carbon Community College. The qualifiers are some of the more than 50 Lehigh DECA members from three of LCTI’s programs, including advertising design/commercial art, marketing and business education and supply chain management and logistics technology.

Congratulations to the following Catasauqua High School students who qualified for states to be held in February 2022: Joseph Williams, sixth place, principles of finance (marketing and business education); Bryce Brotzman, fourth place, restaurant and food service management (marketing and business education); Jorry Cene, fourth place, human resources management (marketing and business education); and Jevon White, second place, entrepreneurship (marketing and business education).

CHS is seeking to fill a short-term substitute in general science position, which begins January 2022 and ends June 2022. Appropriate certification(s) are required.

Support the class by visiting the restaurant Thursdays, and 10 percent of your check will be donated back to the students of the Class of 2025, regardless of whether you choose to dine in, order takeout or get delivery.
