Kathlene Elise Jernegan, 71, of Whitehall, died in her home Dec. 16, 2021. She was the wife of William T. Jernegan for 52 years.

Raised in Springfield Township, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Ann Alexander.

She was a graduate of Springfield Township High School.

She worked in various administrative positions including with State Farm, Lancaster School District and, most recently, First Presbyterian Church in Hokendauqua.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three children, Michael of Whitehall, Alexis of Doylestown and Matthew and his wife Elizabeth of Upper Macungie Township; four grandchildren, Tyler, Leyna, Blake and Alexander; brothers and sisters-in-law; nieces; and nephews.

She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Alexander of Michigan.
