Evelyn M. Haas, 92, of Northampton and formerly of Whitehall, died Dec. 16, 2021, at her residence. She was the wife of the late Baird F. Haas Sr.

Born in Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late George Sr. and Mae (Tereya) Kern.

She was sewing machine operator for more than 60 years. The last 10 years was at Kaylin Manufacturing, Allentown, before retiring in 2014.

She was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Whitehall.

She was a former bowler with the ladies league at Mountainville Lanes, Allentown, for many years.

She is survived by a daughter, Terri A. and her husband Gregory Kresge of Northampton; two grandchildren, Gregory and Shania Kresge; and a stepgrandson, Brian McNeal and his wife Kristen.

She was predeceased by a son, Baird F. Haas Jr. and companion Ruth McNeal; four brothers, George Jr., Willard, Leroy and Robert; and six sisters, Margaret, Louise, Joyce, Carol, Helen and Catherine.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
