Calvin Elmer Jacobs, 94, of Fogelsville, formerly of Zionsville, died Dec. 16, 2021, in his residence. He was the husband of Dolores M. (Hunt) Jacobs for 34 years. Born in Middleton, N.J., he was the son of the late Eugene R. and Grace A. (Stubbings) Jacobs.

He honorably served his country in the Marine Corps during World War II.

He worked for Sears and had several businesses, most recently Nancy’s Nursery for 20 years, retiring in 2007.

He enjoyed traveling, boating, fishing and water and snow skiing.

He is survived by his wife; a daughter, Jean Brossman; sons, William and John and his wife, Maria; many grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Dec. 30 in the Schantz Funeral Home, P.C., 250 Main St., Emmaus. A viewing will be held 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
