Members of the Parkland High School Trojan Alumni Varsity Club gathered Dec. 9 to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the club at the Iron Lakes Country Club.
Members and family met to reminisce about their experiences on the field, the court or the mat.
Members were not limited to members of sports teams as cheerleaders and band members also joined the organization.
The club was started in 1951 and two charter members were at the reunion, Harley Wenninger and Dalton Schaadt.
