Edward Peter Razzis Sr.

Edward Peter Razzis Sr., 72, of Coplay, died peacefully Dec. 8, 2021, in his home.

He and his wife, Nancy K. (Schaeffer) Razzis, were married 49 years.

Born Oct. 7, 1949, in Ashland, Schuylkill County, he was the son of the late Edward F. and Verna H. (Romonusky) Razzis.

He was the founder, owner and president of East Penn Rebuilders Inc., Allentown, which he established in 1985 and continued to run in great success until his passing.

Alongside an immeasurable work ethic, he enjoyed many hobbies.

He was an avid sportsman holding membership in several local sportsman’s clubs.

Besides hunting with his son, Ted, his favorite companion was his bird dog, Fannie.

As a member of the Beach Haven Park Yacht Club, he enjoyed many summers on the New Jersey shore fishing the canyons with friends and family.

He also had a passion for classic cars and his love of Corvettes was evident as he proudly showed them at local car shows.

More than anything else, his biggest love was his family.

Weekends were reserved for cookouts with his family and Saturday night dinners with his wife.

His spare time was spent as a proud spectator at the countless activities of his six grandchildren.

He was also an upstanding member of Union Evangelical Lutheran Church, Schnecksville.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by a son Edward P. “Ted” Razzis Jr. (Jane) of Coplay; daughter Kristy L. Leuthe (Mark) of Allentown; grandchildren Malerie, Matthew, Olivia, Ava, Michael and Lia; and sister Elizabeth Eisenhower (Douglas) of Florida.
