Catasauqua Community Cares Program will be available for meal services over winter break for students. Breakfast, lunch and snacks can be provided by emailing C3P@cattysd.org or texting/calling 484-661-8433. Provide the student’s name, grade and a contact number, and a representative will send the distribution information.

Pickup will take place Dec. 23.

Sheckler Elementary School counselors have posted the December newsletter on the school’s Facebook page. The letter discusses what material the students have reviewed over the last few weeks.

Dec. 23 will be Mrs. Spengler’s last day. She was the counselor for first and third grades.

Catasauqua Area School District will be closed Dec. 24-Jan. 2, 2022. Students will return to their normal schedules Jan. 3, 2022.

Sheckler is looking to fill a school counselor position. Appropriate certification is required, and the position will become available in January 2022.

Looking ahead, CASD will be closed Jan. 17, 2022, for Martin Luther King Jr. Day, and Jan. 24, 2022, for a teacher in-service day. Schools will also be closed Feb. 18-21, 2022, for the Presidents Day holiday.
