Pennsylvania State Police troopers, with support from Upper Macungie police, held a child safety seat check recently in the Islamic Education Center parking lot, 6635 Tilghman St., Upper Macungie.
Troopers and officers inspected the installation of child safety seats in personal vehicles to ensure children of all ages would be as safe as possible while traveling.
An improperly installed child safety seat could result in unnecessary injury to children in the event of an accident or even unusual movement of the vehicle.

Djevharian inspects Levan's seat installation. Inspection revealed the seat needed to be reinstalled to provide maximum safety.
