The North Catasauqua Police Department has partnered with PAIR, Police Assisting In Recovery, through Northampton County. The program helps individuals with drug and narcotic addictions locate treatment providers and recovery centers.

Officers can meet individuals with drug addictions at a hospital, recovery center or police station for an assessment.

The program is available 8 a.m.-midnight, seven days a week.

Locations that provide help include Change on Main, 1830 Main St., Northampton; Hope Center, 429 E. Broad St., Bethlehem; Oasis, 3410 Bath Pike, Bethlehem; A Clean Slate, 100 S. First St., Bangor; and Palmer Recovery Center, 2906 William Penn Highway, Easton.

Anyone with an addiction or those helping an individual can call PAIR at 484-613-7828 or contact Lehigh County Communications Center at 610-437-5252, and a police officer will be able to assist.
