Margaret Emma Bonenberger, 91, of Whitehall, died Dec. 1, 2021. She was the wife of the late Paul R. Bonenberger for 52 years.

Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late John and Emma (Stranzl) Karoly.

She was a 1948 graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School and a 1951 graduate of Sacred Heart School of Nursing.

She was a registered nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital and Liberty Nursing.

She was a member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Roman Catholic Church, Whitehall, where she was a member of the Golden Agers, Altar and Rosary Society and the prayer shawl ministry.

She is survived by four children, Jane Pederson with Mark, Susan Bartos with Robert, Mark with Lisa and David with Jeri; and eight grandchildren, Matthew, Laura, Christian, Alyssa, Kara, Michael, Daniel and Hailey.
