Larry R. Wimmer, 77, of Coplay, died Dec. 3, 2021, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of Arlene (Oswald) Wimmer.

He was in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War era.

He was a truck driver for many years until he retired.

He is survived by two daughters, Laurie A. of Coplay and Lori “Jane” Derr with Thomas of Catasauqua; two sisters, Joan Ebert with Sonny of Northampton and Loretta Ballas with Gene of Walnutport; four grandchildren, Sarah, Stacie, John and Katie; two great-grandchildren, Jaydin and Charlotte; and several nephews.

He was predeceased by two brothers, Wayne and Donald.
