Coplay Saengerbund, 205 S. Fifth St., is holding a Silvester Feier New Year’s Eve celebration 3-7 p.m. Dec. 31.

Emil Schanta will entertain 4-7 p.m. There is a cost, which includes dinner, beer and refreshments.

St. Peter Roman Catholic Church plans to offer companion niche ossuariums to church members for placement of remains at the cemetery on Hokendauqua Street.

They are slated to be offered in February 2022 and are touted as less costly than a casket burial. More information is to come.

The church is selling its lucky number calendars for 2022.
