Blanche E. Ashburner, 88, of Bethlehem, died on December 12, 2021. Born in Palmerton, she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Ellen (Shook) Borger.

She was the wife of the late Robert F. Ashburner Sr. for 46 years.

She was a seamstress - sewing machine operator at SureFit,Inc.

She is survived by a son, Robert F. Jr. and his wife Melissa; three daughters, Deborah Ashburner, Bonnie Gallagher and her husband Larry and Cindy Giering and her husband Howard; three sisters, Betty Bowers, Evelyn Danner and Viola Ross; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by two daughters, Dawn Miller and Catherine Ashburner.

Arrangements were made by Connell Funeral Home Inc., Bethlehem.
