Kenny G., 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19, State Theatre Center for The Arts, 453 Northampton St., Easton. Kenny G’s “New Standards,” released Dec. 3, his first album in six years, has 11 original compositions inspired by jazz ballads of the 1950s and ’60s. The new documentary, “Listening to Kenny G,” is on HBO and HBO Max. Kenny G was born Kenneth Bruce Gorelick, June 5, 1956, in Seattle, Wash. The breakthrough for the American smooth jazz saxophonist, composer and producer was the 1986 single, his original composition, “Songbird,” and 1986 album, ”Duotones.” Kenny G is the most successful instrumentalist of all-time, having sold more than 75 million records. Trans-Siberian Orchestra, 3 p.m., 7:30 p.m. Dec. 19, PPL Center, 701 Hamilton St., Allentown. Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) brings its “Winter Tour” back to Allentown, celebrating the 25th anniversary of its landmark album, “Christmas Eve and Other Stories.” TSO has sold more than 10 million albums, with a series of recorded rock operas: TSO’s concerts include a string section, light show, lasers, video screens and synchronized effects. The album and tour feature fan-favorites “Ornament,” “Promises To Keep,” “This Christmas Day,” “O’ Come All Ye Faithful,” “Good King Joy” and “Old City Bar.” A second set contains TSO’s hits, including “Christmas Canon” and “Wizards In Winter.” TSO will give at least $1 from every ticket sold to charity. Travis Tritt, 8 p.m. Dec. 17, Penn’s Peak, 325 Maury Road, Jim Thorpe. Doors open at 6 p.m. Thirty years after Tritt’s 1990 debut, “Country Club,” the Marietta, Ga., native’s latest album, “Set In Stone,” is available on vinyl. It’s his first studio album in more than a decade and was released digitally and on CD in May. “Set In Stone” has 11 new songs, eight of which were co-written by Tritt, such as “Stand Your Ground,” “Leave This World” and “Ghost Town Nation.” Tritt has sold more than 30 million albums.
