The Friends of the Parkland Community Library has a new used book room at the renovated Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall.

The room is stocked with books for all ages, as well as CDs, DVDs and puzzles for sale.

The book room can be visited on a regular basis.

At present, it is open 10 a.m. to noon, and 6-8 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The hours will soon be expanding.

There are also mini sales from time to time with specialized themes that will be included when visiting the book room.
