Shoemaker Fifth Grade Art Club members paint a mural at AMC Center Valley 16

Contributed Photos For the first time in some time, members of the Shoemaker Fifth Grade Art Club returned to AMC Center Valley 16 to decorate the lobby with their take on upcoming feature attractions recently. The students, under the mentorship of Shoemaker Elementary School art teacher Jeff Shreck, created murals honoring the feature Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Ben Purcell contributes his touch to the iconic Ghostbusters logo. The process begins in a classroom where students develop concept drawings that will become the mural designs. Jeff Shreck then sketches the selected designs onto the lobby glass on mural day and students arrive to outline and paint in the sketches.
