Joyce G. Rauch, 87, formerly of Macungie, died Nov. 22, 2021, at Saucon Valley Manor. She was the wife of Leo H. Rauch to whom she was married for 69 years. Born in New Berlinville, she was a daughter of the late Clarence F. and Ellen M. (Lesher) Gilbert.

She worked for Allen Organ for over 30 years, retiring in 1996. Prior, she worked with her parents at the former Gilbert Seafood in Boyertown.

She was a member of St. Peters Union Church, Macungie.

She was a lifetime member of the New Berlinville Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.

Each year she and her husband set up a huge Christmas display at their home, dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus and provided many stuffed animals for the local children.

She is survived by her husband; daughters, Virginia and her husband, Ronald Snyder, Joy Ostrander; grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, Ken; Hilary and her husband, David; Derrick; a great-granddaughter, McKenna; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Betty M. Haas.
